On behalf of businesses and organisations, we have been trusted to tell stories on film, both in Hallingdal and across Norway. Every film we make is different, but most of them share three things: pride, a vision and a story. Big words, but entirely true. We help you convey all three ingredients, on the big screen or on the small one in your neighbour’s pocket.
More than pressing record
A picture is worth a thousand words, as they say. Imagine how much you can say with 25 pictures per second, as the film format demands. A film with the Hallingcast signature puts storytelling at the centre. It is so much more than «Can’t you just make a film?» and hitting record. Together with you, we work hard to bring out the soul of your business. Gloved working hands digging trenches in winter, the dairy farmer keeping local food traditions alive, the entrepreneur ready to tell the world about a new product.
Tailor-made music and voice
As you can see (and hear) in the film about Hallingcast below, we can go all in and tailor music to match your brand. The music was composed around our audio jingle – both produced and performed by Ådne Lyngstad Nilsen, our go-to producer of tailor-made music.
We also have a wide range of voice actors: male, female, young, old, dialects, Norwegian, English. Combined with a script we agree on together, we are confident we will strike a nerve with your audience.

We are happy to make the film you have in mind – and at the same time, we like to challenge our clients. Because we know that the best results require solid groundwork. A classic mistake is cramming lots of messages into one and the same film. «Yes, but we have so much to say?»

About the photographer
Anders Medhus has pointed his camera lens at a bit of everything. On the right days it may smell of rakfisk and cowshed, but most of the time he photographs people, in surroundings where they feel at home.
In his spare time, this nostalgic creature prefers to work in the darkroom. Everything he has learned from «slow photography» he brings into his digital work. If you want a photographic print that archaeologists will dust off in a thousand years, he is happy to do the job analogue, printed on baryta paper and shot with a Hasselblad medium format camera.
